Here’s my favorite way to make fresh whipped cream. Sure, you could use the canned stuff but this is so much better and incredibly easy. Fresh whipped cream is an easy way to take your baking to the next level. Go ahead and try it.

Yields 2.5 - 3 Cups Whipped Cream
Fresh Whipped Cream
2 Cups Heavy Cream, cold
1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
In a chilled bowl, add the cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Whisk (by hand or on medium-high speed using electric mixer) just until stiff peaks form.
For best results, stick your bowl and whisk/beaters in the freezer for 5-10 minutes before using.
