Chocolate Ganache – an easy cake glaze or cupcake frosting. #chocolate #ganache
Chocolate Ganache just sounds good. Would you rather have chocolate icing or chocolate ganache? I’d go for the ganache.
Ganache is a rich icing made of semisweet chocolate and heavy cream. You can also use it as a filling. It is so simple to make, you just heat the cream and stirred it into the chocolate until it has melted. It’s cooled until lukewarm and then poured over cakes and cupcakes to give them a shiny glaze. Ganache can also be chilled and whipped into a fluffy chocolate frosting.
Ganache may sound fancy but it’s incredibly easy to make. Once you get the hang of it, ganache will be a loyal soldier in your kitchen, elevating your desserts and making them look fancy and professional.
