May Cookbook Giveaway

I’ve been talking a lot about pies this month so I thought it was only appropriate for the May cookbook giveaway to be pie-themed.

This month, I’m giving away one copy of Pie School: Lessons in Fruit, Flour & Butter by Kate Lebo.

Pie School was given to me as a birthday present from my mom. I quickly read it cover-to-cover and loved the laid back approach to baking fruit pies. If you’re intimidated by baking, Kate will hold your hand and walk you through the process. Pie School’s recipes are classics with modern twists and the writing will engage you and keep you wanting to learn more. This is a great book for any any cookbook collection.

I’m giving away 1 copy of the book and there are several ways to enter to win below. A winner will be randomly chosen on Sunday, June 7, 2015 and will be announced on this page and via social media. The winner will be emailed to figure out shipping logistics but if he/she does not respond within 48 hours, a new winner will be chosen.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

I am a pretty good cook, a pretty good baker too usually, but somehow the great crust eludes me. I need more study!

I've got to work on the crust too. I overwork, it becomes limp. Not a good thing.

I think I'm pretty good at making pies, I don't make a huge variety....only peach, apple or pumpkin. I could learn to make more variety. ;) I would like this for my daughter, she likes to bake.
